$6,250,000

5316 E PALOMINO RD, Phoenix, AZ

“7,739 sq ft main house with 799 sq ft Casita, and 12 car garage.”

In a world that presents confusion, resentment, and disappointment as Monday morning anger management fuel, we thought we’d take a moment to step inside from the dark.

World – [Off Button] – (click!)

Calgon, take me away!

Welcome to a home large enough to generate its own gravitational pull. This zip code worthy 24-foot-long kitchen island will place you on a first name basis with area bar stool suppliers. The hangar height ceilings, tall enough to stack an NBA team end to end, will answer the age-old question, “How many workers does it take to change a lightbulb?”. See: Invoices. Let’s say your idea of exercise is pushing your luck, this home’s staggering amount of final frontier space may exceed your step counter’s capabilities. If party planners somehow filled up this interior’s limitless limits with humanity, the spillover is an outdoor ballroom siding the pool. The sunken ballroom floor allows your dry guests to maintain eye contact with the bikini clad wet guests….good luck with that. Did we mention this home rests on Camelback’s southern slope, delivering statewide views from a perch you can point to from anywhere in town? “That’s my house right up there, the one blocking the mountain.”

How many halls must a man travel down,

before he can locate the john?

The answer my friend,

Is blowin in the wind

The answer is blowin in the wind.

$35,000

6770 W State Route 89A — 66, Sedona, A

“Land lease is $1050 a month.”

Sedona, God’s best excuse for eyesight, can be your Weekend Getaway destination for the cost of a used Jeep Wrangler. Welcome to Sedona Pines Resort, a quaint southwestern village on the western edge of Sedona, placed gently upon 19 gorgeous red rock acres. This brochure claims the “peace and tranquility will touch your very soul”. Hee hee! That tickles! This isn’t some cheesy tornado bait community of double axled trailer park trash heaps. This is a very welcoming adult community that’s pleasing to both the eyes and the wallet. Right next door you will encounter Sedona Pines Resort, which has its own restaurant, social activities, and a mini-golf course. You can walk there in under a minute.

There is no HOA fee or resort fee here. There is a $1050 per month land lease fee. That’s it.

TO LIVE IN SEDONA!?!

That’s easy.

$2,950,000

2945 Red Rock Loop RD, Sedona, AZ

cascading 30 foot waterfall with koi pond, fire-pit”

Frying pan not included. Four Sedona properties made the Hot list today, an odd coincidence since we don’t plan these things out. This 5-acre masterpiece rests on the southwestern face of Cimmaron Butte. You’re viewing an extremely rare occasion where a property not only enjoys a signature red rock view, it’s integrated right into it. Those familiar with Sedona can rattle off the famed formation names like Zorro lighting matches with a whip; Cathedral Rock, The Nuns, Devil’s Bridge, Coffee Pot Rock, Brin’s Mesa, Bell Rock, Submarine Rock, Snoopy Rock, Nine, Ten, Eleven o’clock, twelve o’clock rock, we’re going to rock around the clock tonight!

Cimmaron Butte isn’t one of those fame names, as this red faced formation is harbored in a secret location. Where is this Hidden Valley? Next time you hit the roundabout in the Village of Oak Creek, take the road less traveled, Verde Valley School Road, which wanders westward. Follow it through Oak Creek and as you meander west the houses will evaporate, and you’ll find yourself on a lonely path winding through Sedona’s hidden valley. This is where they discovered ranch dressing (according to the packaging). With a dash of GPS and a pinch of 4-wheel drive, you can explore all the day long day back here, without the typical crowds bloating the trailheads near town. Treat yourself sometime. You deserve it.

Sedona is our favorite destination in this state overflowing with destinations. Just a 2 hour drive away most days.

Almost Heaven, West Sedona,

Red Rock Mountains, best of Arizona,

Life is cold there, colder than Phoenix,

Staring at the mountains, brainstruck by scenics

Gravel roads, take me home

To the place, where I belong

West Sedona, in a trailer,

Take me home, I want to go

Remember friends; we live on a beautiful planet, that happens to moonlight as a very ugly world.

Be a light in its darkness.
